Guest Speakers – The Jet-Set Messengers

Guest speakers operate in a fast-paced and frenetic environment and will often be booked to speak for up to eight months in advance. Travel forms a big part of their job.  One excellent guest speaker who lives in South Africa will sometimes begin a day by speaking in Johannesburg at a breakfast seminar then drive to Pretoria for an afternoon booking before finally return to Gauteng to speak at an evening company sales dinner. A day or so later he will be boarding a flight to London or Dubai to provide inspiration to many more employees.  Guest speakers are the messengers of inspiration - most of what they have to say revolves around boosting and inspiring people. Employees are often taken away to a conference venue and re-inspired and re-energized by guest speakers. At times an employee's performance may falter and negativity sets in. That's when the guest speaker steps in to inspire and put back the spark that's missing. Guest speakers are performers, actors if you like, who will often use props to entertain and motivate their audiences into buying in to the message that they can achieve their dreams and goals. A few guest speakers are also known as a wildlife speakers or nature speakers. Their presentations usually liken the habits of animals to that of humans. Talking about a group of meerkats, for example, can be used by the wildlife guest speaker to illustrate the dynamics of teamwork and social responsibility. The nature guest speaker is particularly popular in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates
