Guest Speakers – If It’s Tuesday It Must Be Dubai!

The life of a good guest speaker can be pretty hectic and travel forms a large part of what they do. I know of one guest speaker from South Africa, who one week is speaking to companies in Johannesburg, Gauteng and Pretoria and the next he's rushing to the airport to catch a flight to London or Dubai.  International guest speakers, especially good ones, are a rare breed. Invariably positive and upbeat, their job usually entails uplifting their audience with inspirational or humorous messages: this being the case, they need to be able to read the mood of their audiences and win them over right from the start. An introduction that shocks or is funny and grabs the attention of the audience is the approach of many guest speakers.  In many cases guest speakers make use of humour, which is one sure-fire way to win over an audience and have them remembering the subject matter. Some guest speakers even use props, video presentations and elaborate costumes to help add something special to their speeches. Many companies use guest speakers at their annual sales conferences to uplift and inspire their employees to achieve their goals and help them remain positive in outlook and attitude, especially if the business is trading in tough times.   My man from South Africa is also a wildlife guest speaker or nature guest speaker and his wildlife subject matter has proved very popular overseas. He is inundated with requests and bookings from companies all over the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates
