In a nutshell these are a very useful tool to be employed at events and functions whether it is an annual sales conference or a woman's day celebration. Like most tools however, it is in the wielding that great results are obtained. The use of facial expressions is just another form of gesture, and gestures are an important element in good presentation skills. If you wish to put over a point to your audience, if you want to sway their minds or inspire them, then your face has to show what you are thinking and feeling. Experienced presenters who give their oration with a dead pan face and total lack of expression will have a lot of difficulty in swaying their listeners.
