It is part of good presentation skills
It is part of good presentation skills when special consideration is given to the feelings and the beliefs of the audience because a presenter would have the much needed room to drive home his points and will also be able to demonstrate the relevance of the subject to them. One of the other presentation skills that corporate presenters can use is to cash in on personal recognition of the people listening to their presentations. This is made even more possible when the audience to whom the presentation is being made is a small one where the presenter knows the names of all those present. Care however need be taken not to miss out the name of anybody in such a setting and at the same time this act of calling names or making references to names should not be overplayed. More important is the fact that corporate presenters have to have permission before they reel out names at their presentations and good practice for them to attend presentation skills training beforehand.
