An ambitious motivational speaker has to join relevant associations and industry societies in order to further his or her own individual market education and professionalism. The best places to start, would be to ask your local councils and schools, whether they would like you to speak to children in your area about the topics of your choice, if you feel that there is a need for those types of people to know. It's the easiest place to start: children are more impressionable than adults, and although teenagers can be a tough crowd, this will only prove your ability if you're successful. Alternatively, other people who are great to contact locally, are charities: they're always looking for advocates and motivational speakers mediators to speak at their functions, or persuade people to donate more.
