Any people motivational speaker, a HR inspirational speaker, professional speaker or keynote speaker worth her salt advocates a message of people care, but it doesn't imply a license for lack of accountability. A sales force or business team needs to have a clear understanding that irresponsible behaviour will lead to tough outcomes. A respected top motivational speaker, a caring inspirational speaker, professional speaker or keynote speaker can still win favour with audiences, but corporate leaders should never aim to enter the popularity race.  From an organizational point of view it is vital that others respect you. They don't need to like you. That is the difference between respect and popularity.
