It doesn't matter if we talk about successful motivational speakers, top business executives or brilliant sports people; insecurity knows no boundaries or occupations. Every one of us have to take stock some point in time and ask ourselves the question: How many of my career expectations are simply driven by insecure motives? I know seasoned senior managers who has managed in many well-known companies, who feel Insecure. I know top motivational speakers with deep knowledge of industry across organizations that battle insecurity. I know some celebrities, who on the outside seem very confident, yet fight self-doubt on a daily basis. It does not matter who you are - people who are serious about understanding career success do regular introspection and use feedback from others as outstanding opportunities for personal development and enhancing self-awareness. So, here is the big question that one can ask rhetorically: "How do you overcome insecurity?"  There can be many complicated answers but also some simple formulas which are quite straightforward. One becomes comfortable in your own skin when you know who you are, where you are going in life and when you are determined to make as many as possible people around you successful. There is one trick though - some motivational speakers forget to mention that it might take decades rather than months to truly become secure with who you are. Insecurity should not be treated as the enemy, but rather as a friend who can make the opportunity for personal growth possible. Maybe it is time to reflect on a number of self secure motivational speakers in S.A. to potentially invite to some of your training events...
