Enhance your personal presentation skills through training

Some people visualize there chance to present in front of people as a great opportunity to crash and burn. How can you ever have presentation skills success when you enter the arena with this type of mindset? While there are some colleagues who actually like to give presentations, most of us perspire so much in anxiety that the spotlight can hardly shine through all the steam on stage. The good news is that we can manage uncontrollable bowel movements. A pause can help you to re-focus and at the same time it makes the audience concentrate. It doesn't help to speed through your presentation without taking a breath. Taking a slower pace, might feel uncomfortable to you, but perfectly normal and manageable to the listeners. Squeeze your toes a couple of times. You can feel it, but the audience can't see it. Force yourself to feel at ease with silence and don't allow it to become deafening even in the absence of any sound. Ever thought of verbal presentation skills involving deliberate silence? Not all of us will or want to become electrifying presenters or international speaking professionals but that is surely not the objective of enhancing communication skills. Most of us just want to take the terror out of talking in front of others and give a decent presentation. By the way, if you are looking for an opportunity to enhance your personal presentation skills through training in how to prepare a speech; eye contact; hand movement; story telling; the use of humour ; pregnant pauses and many other speaking tips, join us for a one day training.
