Presentation skills in SA helps with confidence on the podium all the time, of course if it was a good workshop. The confidence which is shown while on the podium will have a lot to do with how well the presentation was accepted by the audience. A nervous person with an imperfect diction will not be able to get the desired effect. On the other hand someone who is confident and can speak clearly and fluently will make a good impact on them.  Getting over stage fright and nervousness is what is important and central to presentation skills in SA. There is no need to feel diffident about this as most people have this problem but can overcome it with a little bit of perseverance. Sometimes being nervous will make a presenter put more energy into his presentation and this will make it have a better impression.
